Safety Program

Rhino Demolition & Environmental Services, Corp. has a top notch Safety Program. We take safety personally and it is our number one concern when working on any project. Rhino stays up to date on all required training, including asbestos, lead, OSHA30, CPR, etc. All employees are properly trained for fall protection for working in high spaces, with ladders, safety belts/harnesses/lanyards, scaffolding, safety nets and confined spaces. Employees are required to have a yearly physical, fit test and blood work before and after lead projects.

Working on military bases and industrial projects, there are very strict OSHA and EPA guidelines that Rhino needs to adhere to. OSHA logs are kept in our safety/training room at our office, as well on our job sites in our job books. MSDS sheets are also kept in our office and on our jobs sites in our job books. A weekly safety meeting is conducted each week on every job. As part of Rhino's weekly safety meeting program, a two year plan is posted in our safety/training room outlining the weekly topics and when they were completed. Rhino is a member of Safety Service, who has assisted us in creating and maintaining our weekly Tailgate/Toolbox Training.

Other parts of our Safety Program include:
  1. Monitoring Programs
  2. Respiratory Protection Program
  3. Hazard Communication Program
  4. Lockout/Tagout Program
  5. Heat Stress Introduction
  6. Cold Stress
  7. Hazardous Waste Operations – Remediation & Emergency Response Safety and Health Program
  8. Asbestos Operations
  9. Lead Operations
  10. Confined Space Entry Program
Our Health and Safety Manual is available upon request.
